Sorry for the intrusion. I have built a tool that works great with SQL Server 2000. Unfortunately, the people I work with cannot get me clean data. They are using a VAX system and Oracle 9i. They told me that they are going to automate the process to Oracle 9i and trash my SQL Server tables. Then they want me to connect to Oracle.

Can anyone steer me to right code / libraries to connect to Oracle 9i from VB6?

I greatly appreciate your input and will try to avoid conversing Oracle on a SQL Server forum which I like lots.

Go SQL Server ... What's Oracle?

You should post this question at http://www.dbasupport.com/forums/, since it deals with Oracle. You should also consider purchasing some books to get you off on the right foot.

You should also consider shooting your dipshit coworkers and thereby save the human genome from being fatally contaminated. If they are going to "trash your SQL Server tables" I don't know where they get the balls to insist that you connect to Oracle. Let them write it themselves.
