| I've tried Release, SP1, SP2 and SP3a of MSDE on these two platforms. Win98 original won't install it. It updates windows Installer, fires up the MSI, then immediately exits. Nothing of note in the verbose log, other than reporting the MainEngineThread returned 1603. No values of 3 returned at all. I've patched allsorts, and it won't install. In contrast, its absolutely fine on the Win98 SE.Has anyone experienced this? |
