Hey all,Maybe somebody can clue me into what I'm doing wrong. I have MSDE installed on my workstation through Visual Studio.NET.It's currently running SP1. I am trying to apply SP3. I use the following command:setup.exe /upgradesp SQLRUN INSTANCENAME=WORKSTATION1\local SECURITYMODE=SQL UPGRADEUSER=sa UPGRADEPWD=mypasswordhere It runs for a few seconds and I get the following prompt: "Please go to the control panel to install and configure system components"Now I enjoy obscure error messages/system prompts as much as the next guy but come on Microsoft, throw me a freakin bone.Thanks,JustinExpect 0x80040106 |
