| perhaps there is something enabled on the operators machine that is suppressing the alert. Although i confess to not knowing what it may be. What form does the alert take ? Net message ? Email ? Firework display ?===========Paul |

| You must be running NT on client machine and the messenger service also be enable with netbios of tcp if contacting client of the internet or IP instead of name. Had to write a TCP netbios messenger, didn't ever want to that much about a protocol just wanted to program. |
