I was wondering if anyone had a function that would take a search string, and parse it out into a boolean phrase:

For instance, FirstName Field is passed 'Dan OR George', and it would output:

(FirstName Like '%Dan%' OR FirstName Like '%George%')

i have this is coldfusion code already, but would like the equivalent ... I'd rather do the searching in sql ...

You can modify the csv code to return a string.

You can also look through the site a some dynamic sql examples and instead of passing Dan Or George pass the entire where clause to you stored procedure and then use sp_ExecuteSQL.
