Hello, all. I have been tasked with parsing incoming (Outlook 2010 via Exchange) emails and storing the key info (sender, subject, date, body, etc) into SQL Server. I'm currently using SQL 2008 R2 but am standing up a new 2014 server very soon.Having never done this before, am hoping for some direction/advice on how to proceed. I can't purchase any additional software and probably need to rely on a local instance of Outlook. Fortunately, the mailbox is dedicated to this effort, so most email will be simple and structured. I'm guessing I'll need to export the email to TXT files, then can use SSIS to do the rest, but not sure.Any info appreciated. |
