| Is there anyway for me to install SQL Server 2K on Windows XP? If not, what's my best bet, changing OSs or SQL versions?thanx in advance,mike |

| According to Microsoft's system requirements:http://www.microsoft.com/sql/evaluation/sysreqs/2000/default.aspYou cannot run SQL2K Enterprise or Standard editions on XP, but the trial, developer and personal editions can. I don't believe WindowsXP is a server-level OS anyway, if you're thinking of a production-level installation you should stick with Windows 2000 Server or higher. |
