| BOL obviously doesn't have this, they're only interested in telling you about their latest and greatest version...anyone know how far back the FK reference ON DELETE goes (delete child records when parent row is deleted)? sql 7? 6?i have a feeling it's been around for a long time, i just can't remember...rudyhttp://rudy.ca/ |

| Yep, cascading FK's is new to SQL 2K. Prior to that you had to roll-your-own with triggers. |
