I currently running SQL 2008 Express R2. I want to upgrade it to 2012 now but keep running into these problems (see pics). I've tried upgrading. I've tried removing SQL 2008 and a fresh SQL 2012 install. I've also tried both installers ...the x86 & 64. I'm running Win 7. I'm at a complete loss here.Problem:Microsoft description of problem:-MikeMike Brown |

What is the MSI or installer you are running? The title bar seems to indicate that you are running Service Pack 1 rather than the complete setup. You should be downloading from here the appropriate MSI and installing that. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29062 |
