Hi all,I am new to MS SQL server. I have been coding applications and doing database connectivity in other languages and databases. I am not new to SQL. Now, I have been asked to do DBA work because our DBA left the company a year ago. I really don't know where to start. Right now, I have a MS book on Implementation and Maintenance..But I definitely want help. What should I do first? I am kind of getting used to working with the MS management studio. How should i plan my work? What dba activities or script do i need to check regularly..Can you please help me?Thanks |
