I want to restore a database but I am getting the following error, "The media family on device is incorrectly formed. SQL server can not process this media family. RESTORE HEADERONLY is terminating abnormally. Microsoft SQL server, Error: 3241".Kwaedza |

It looks like, you are getting error message due to a mismatch of SQL server versions between the backup and restore.
