Trev writes "I already have a way of searching my database by way of an A-z, a category and a keyword but i have recently found my categories too large and have added the A-Z bit after choosing a category so i do not have too many records coming back. The problem is (at last) i want to chop my alphabet into 4 or 5 chunks so that i don't have a prob if there isn't any A's in the category etc. e.g A-F G-L M-Q blah blah blah How do i compare a variable with a range of letters in an SQL select statement?
Help me please, ive looked everywhere and know it must be simple." |
