| Hi Guys, I am having trouble trying to install MSDE 2 onto acouple of machines.When I hit setup on Sql Server2 sp2 disk for MSDE I get the followingerror:This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the packageexists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor toverify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.I already have MSDE 1.0 on the machines without a problem now trying toupgrade it to MSDE 2 since my Access Projectwas developed for MSDE 2 on my machine.It says if I get this error that I need to order the Sql Server Sevice Packfrom MS. I did this and tryed install to the machines with the sameresults.How can I install MSDE 2 Manually if I have the Files? My project usesAccess project and MSDE 2 as the backenddatabase. Please Help.Thanks, |
