Satyajit writes "We are running SQL server 7.0 on windows NT server. We want to run a unix script on a different unix server as soon as SQL server finishes running of stored procedure.

Again in back cycle we want to run a stored procedure as soon as unix server completes script running.

Please advice how to go . We need urgent help. We can't use cron in this case."

Can you give us a little more info on EXACTLY what each machine does? How do the two computers communicate (network type, settings, etc.) As much detail as you can provide, it's important.
