Dear Experts
Require your advices. I have a simple query as "Select FieldA from TableB". What are the ways, I can fine tune this query ?

I have heard of No Lock, which ignores the locks if any has been put on Table, Record or Page Level. How does this work ?

Appreciate your help.

Regards
Dbh

Hello DBHota

Usage:
SELECT fieldA FROM tableB WITH (NOLOCK)

Attention: We speak of "dirty reads" when we use such a query, because it doesn't respect locks of other transitions. In my opinion it is practical for evaluation queries, that have to be merely indicative.
