Dear ExpertsRequire your advices. I have a simple query as "Select FieldA from TableB". What are the ways, I can fine tune this query ?I have heard of No Lock, which ignores the locks if any has been put on Table, Record or Page Level. How does this work ?Appreciate your help.RegardsDbhDBHota |

Hello DBHotaUsage: SELECT fieldA FROM tableB WITH (NOLOCK) Attention: We speak of "dirty reads" when we use such a query, because it doesn't respect locks of other transitions. In my opinion it is practical for evaluation queries, that have to be merely indicative.Regards – crö. |
