We've got an Other Topics forum designed for stuff that doesn't fit the other forums.

However, it's a good idea to STICK to SQL Server topics here; that's why it's SQL Team, not SQL & ASP & Crystal Reports & VB & HTML Team!

There's another reason for that: you can use the other stuff with any database program, not just SQL Server. Do you really want this site to have every ADO, ASP, HTML, JavaScript, etc. question posted here? We get FAR too many of them as it is! Just count how many ADO timeout questions we get in a week...if you can count that high!...and not ONE of them, EVER, was caused by a SQL Server problem.

A good place for general some VB programming (and Active Server Pages and HTML) is 4GuysFromRolla ( http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/ ). It's more oriented towards ASP than VB specifically, but it's a great resource. There are plenty of VB sites out there, but until SQLTeam came along there was pretty much nothing for SQL Server.
