Master gurus, G'day, I want to know if BEGIN TRANSACTION ... COMMIT TRANSACTION will be benefitial to my cause.. Basically I'm doing incremental DELETE/UPDATE/INSERT across 6 tables from a main table of about 137+million records.Thanks in advance.. | hi i think begin transaction and commit trans will helpful for small transaction but ur data is very big i am not sure sql will hold the amount of data.... do u need to rollback at any point of time. then it can be usefulltry to maintain small transaction....Ask to your self before u ask someone |
