| If you use PC ANYWHERE you might want to look this little thread of mine that nearly gave me a heart attack this morning[url]http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=11900[/url]Basically, an active connection makes the remote machine interpret dates in american (mm/dd/yyyy) format, when the connection is dropped my default (dd/mm/yyyy) is restored!You would not BELIEVE the grief that this has just caused me.I'm gonna be looking at PC ANYWHERE help and the like for further information, but you have been warned (if you use dates in the right format rather than american :-) |

| I use PCAnywhere at times although have not had a need to encounter this problem. Another package you may want to look at is PCDuo. This certainly used to be better than PCAnywhere (much greater client control) but i'm not sure about the most recent versions ? |
