| Yes but it won't be replicated as in SQL 2005 to Subscribers. Your replication will fail as result of datatype mismatch. You have to Reinitialize Subscription. |

| That was my thinking. My understanding is that no changes can be made to a column without dropping article. To drop article first must drop subscription. Am I right? |
