| I don't think there's an equivalent of FIRST and LAST in SQL....but if what you want is the TOP (aka first) and BOTTOM (aka last) of an ORDERED RESULT SET, then look up Books Online...for TOP, BOTTOM and ORDER BY.SQL data isn't stored in any particular order, so FIRST and LAST won't guarantee that certain specific records will be returned. |
