| Ok, I'm not even going to rant about why DB vendors can't get their act together and support ANSI (and fix ANSI where it has limitations). It's not going to happen, so I'm going to have to live with that.So does anyone know of an automated way to translate scripts between, say, MySQL and MS SQL. Like, for instance, if you have a MySQL script to create 100 or so tables and need to run it against MS SQL? I realize that there are ways to transfer an existing schema from one to the other, but I'm hoping for something to parse and adjust scripts.Thanks-b |

| Bitch at the MySQL people, there's just as many if not more deviations from ANSI in their product as there are in SQL Server. |

Hey now, no need to be defensive. I blame everyone. And I have bitched at them to, but thought that a MySQL mailing list was a more appropriate place.Cheers-b |
