| I am just begining to learn views in MS SQL2k. From what I have read and understood, views are compiled select statements and are used to increase the speed of complex select statements by having them pre-compiled on the server, is this correct? Also, if the above is true, is it safe to say that I should go and find the most resource intensive select statements on my site and create a view for each one of them? And shall I explicitly refrence the view in my select statements or will sql 2k do that automatically?Thank you for your time, |
