We looked at sp_who to get the workstation_ID but found that if two computers had the same name then it wouldn't work. We have a system where we are unable to identify who is doing what at the database level. Logon details are done via ASP and the details are only available from the middle tiers and up. We basically need a way to uniquley identify every computer that is connected to SQL Server.
Any ideas?
