Hi. i just installed visual basic .net resource kit, and the instructions said that for some of the examples to work i have to install MSDE. i have read a number of articles, websites etc on how to install it correctly. now i am more confused than ever on how to install it. could someone tell me about an article or website that explains how to install it in plain lanquage. it seems that there are a number of options, on how and what to install and i need some help on what to do. thanks. Dave. |

Installing MSDE is as simple as double clicking on setup.bat (I think that's the name of the file). What options do you have questions about?Tara |

If MSDE didn't come on the VB .NET CD, then download it here:http://www.microsoft.com/sql/msde/You'll also find instructions on that site.Tara |
