Hi,I was just going through few optimisation sites n i found thisInstead of using temporary stored procedures, you may want to consider using the SP_EXECUTESQL stored procedure instead. It provides the same benefits on temporary stored procedures, but it does not store data in the systems tables, avoiding the contention problems. Can any one tell me what a temporary stored procedures is thank youSam |

It is just like any other temp object. Sort of defeats the benefits of stored procedures thoughcreate proc #up_tempprocas set nocount on select 1 GOexec #up_tempprocdrop proc #up_tempprocGO There is info in BOL under Temporary Stored Procedures |
