I had considered saying "Question withdrawn your honor." you guys crack me up.

Lemme restate the question. If I have a generated recordset (see the red below), is there a way to specify a hint or index to improve performance or .... ??

Example:

SELECT whatever

FROM Users U

CROSS JOIN (SELECT DATEADD(dd, TallyID, GETDATE() FROM dbo.Tally WHERE ID BETWEEN @start AND @FINISH) X

??
