I have to import a txt file into a sql table. the txt file is structured like records/fields. i give an example:
ADAMS LA. Amsterdam 000000041901019ADAMSSOFT SERVICES BV
now i have a microsoft SQL server running without the DTS, but with the bcp. can you tell me which is the best way to do this? Can i import the file into the table where parts of the txt file can be imported to a field (NO NULL CHAR 34) or something? Hope to hear from you soon!
