| Hey folks,Our IT guys recently uninstalled Win2K SP4 from one of our Win2K production servers. This server is currently not integrated with production but is planned to be. After they dropped back to SP3 we started getting a SQL error on boot:SQLAgent.exe - Ordinal Not Found"The ordinal 29 could not be located in the dynamic Link Library odbcbcp.dll"After the error is acknowledged and the boot is complete, the same error shows again. Trying to start the enterprise manager cause another error which points to a registry entry. Is this just a corrupt installation that reinstalling SQL server 2000 will fix? Or does someone know of a common problem associated with this error. As I mentioned above, this server is not yet productional but is planned to be. If reload is the only option then so be it!! But it would be nice to identify the source of the error.Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.thanks,John |

| I suggest reinstalling the SQL Server service pack and also reinstalling MDAC. If you google your error message (which is one of the things that we use to answer people's questions), you'll see lots of answers to your problem.Tara |
