| "Transaction cannot start while in firehose mode" I am having this error msg. when trying to upadate a cell from EM. No problem when I try to update same cell from QA. whats can couse this problem? Thanks in advance |

| You will need to scroll to the bottom of your result set first in Enterprise Manager. Then scroll back up to your record. This is why you shouldn't use Enterprise Manager to modify data. You can read why this problem occurs in Enterprise Manager in an article on MS' knowledge base (I don't have the Q article in front of me). If the table has a lot of records, you will want to filter out some rows so that you don't have to scroll for a long time.Tara |
