I recently bought a Surface Pro 3 and installed SQL Server on it. I added the current user as sysadmin. Later I created other accounts. Now I have the problem that I forgot to add the other accounts to the role sysadmin. And for some strange reason, I can't log on with the original account anymore (this was a email account that the Surface uses; this problem is posted in another forum). So I can't logon to SQL Server with my local account. I tried to run setup again, hoping that I could add administrators there. But I can't get past the Features page. That gives me an error telling me I haven't selected anything. But the checkboxes are greyed out.Has anyone any idea on how to solve this? |

Hi Jack,I've installed in Windows mode, so I can't use sa. But someone else provided the solution by turning my attention to this link:http://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/2465/how-to-connect-to-sql-server-if-you-are-completely-locked-out/ |
