Hello, I searched on the internet for hours but cannot resolve my issue, so this is my last resort. I have 2 instances of SQL Server 2012 on my local machine (Windows 7). One instance starts without any problem, but when I start the other instance from the Services, it starts and immediately it stops. When I try to Connect to server using SSMS, I get the following error:No Connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it My event log shows the following error:An error occurred during recovery, preventing the database 'model' (3:0) from restarting. Diagnose the recovery errors and fix them, or restore from a known good backup. If errors are not corrected or expected, contact Technical Support. Thanks for your help. |
