Example: An real time application requires to maintain data up to Two years. The database shall be backed up daily to a compressed database will also consist of a maximum of 2 years worth of data. Following the end of the 2 year mark – a new compressed archival file will be created. At the end of the 2 year mark the oldest day’s worth of data will be purged with today,s data. Please note that one of the feild has timestamp , so that every record contains its time of creation."
