Steve writes "datepart("dw",date) don't give me Monday, Tuesday... like technet say it should. Granted, no books I have say that it will give me anything more than the number for the day of the week, but one could hope that technet would have the latest & greatest.
Bottom line is that I just want to find some way of returning the text day of the week - is there another function for this?
