I am trying to connect to sql server remotely. I am in Delhi and server are in UK. I am trying to access UK server on my local PC. tcp/ip and named pipes are enabled on both sides. there is no firewall on server. surface config on server allows remote connections. but every time i got error.Error is"An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 28 - Server doesn't support requested protocol) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: -1)"please help meThanx Nasar |
