I have a text file that has over 4000 values in it. Is there a way for me to do a Select statement using where in and point to the text file for the IN values?

Why don't you import the text file in to a table and use it?

You can use OPENROWSET to use the external file as a table.

Can someone give me an example of how to use the openrowset with a text file that doesn't have an odbc connection user and password?
