.net is optimized for ms sql. Bear in mind both of them are Microsoft products. And .net has a couple of data namespaces optimized for the type of db you are using. For sql server its System.Data.SqlClientsee this www.connectionstrings.com |

Also read up on ADO.NET basicsAnd in visual studio, you can create, modify and manipulate your databases directly in visual studio. |
