I am running a number of SQL scripts many times a day against my database, and now my 130GB drive is full. I have looked all over the drive for log files or something else that is taking up space. I can't find anything specific. I am deleting what files I can find, and have to do disk cleanups frequently. I get about four to five more runs. The data base is not that outrageously large, but every time I turn around it is full. Any ideas? |

Either change your recovery model to SIMPLE or start backing up your transaction log on a scheduled basis. If you don't require point in time recovery, then I'd use SIMPLE recovery model.Tara KizerMicrosoft MVP for Windows Server System - SQL Serverhttp://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/Subscribe to my blog |

BINGO! I don't remember how it was set up - I am looking now to see what it is and how to change if from full to simple. I recreate the database every time I start (that is part of what I am doing - writing a conversion process) so I don't need info after it is run.Later.... It was on full - thanks !!! |
