I've got a newbie that's started in the office. And he really doesn't know anything about writing queries. I've been tasked to help him. Does anyone know of a good beginners book that I can get him to save me some time? thanks! (we all have to start somewhere... I remember when I was there...) |

Thanks but that doesn't really help in quickly determining shortlist of what are good beginner books. Here are the three that I discovered after some research today:http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596526849/A First Course in Database Systems by Jeffrey D. Ullman and Jennifer Widom. First additionhttp://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/0764584332/ref=nosim/brettveenstra-20 |
