| SQL Server uses after-triggers, meaning, the trigger fires after the completion of the dml. If your DML violates some FK constraint, your trigger will never fire. If you are on SQL 2K, you can look at INSTEAD OF triggers. Otherwise, you need to manage referential integrity in your DML.<O> |
