| See xp_cmdshell in BOL. It can be used to execute any of the standard DOS file manipulation commands. |

| Hum....what does 'open and activiate' mean when you are talking about a Batch File (.bat)? dsdeming is assuming you mean 'execute' a batch file, and I am inclined to make the same assumption, but you should clarify. Executing a batch file neither 'opens' it or 'activates' it (although I must admit I don't even know what it means to activate a file....)<O>Edited by - Page47 on 07/09/2002 09:29:36 |
