I am new to cursors. I know how to assign a value to one variable using a cursor. I know I can select all using the cursor, but do I have to create a variable for each field or can I just relate to them thru the cursor? I hope i'm not too confusing.....

Why use a cursor? What exactly are you trying to do? There are much faster and more efficient ways to handle data in SQL Server. Can you give us more detail?

Die cursors die.. Umm, I mean give us an example of what you want to do. Cursors aren't the best things to rely on. Post what you need and we'll help ya.

Edit.. bleh, man I was slow with this post. Maybe I shouldn't work and post on here hey?
