I have to make a custom log file in SQL server. I need you guys help.

I will have a job that is just a stored procedure scheduled for every 30 minutes.

That stored procedure should run a query and write the result in to a log (.txt)file. This TXT file, if possible should be there in some other machine than the actual Database server machine.

How would I do that ? For some reason I cannot use iSql.

Please help..

Thanks guys..

You can also bulk copy the contents of a table or the results of a query out to a file. It's fairly simple to dynamically execute the bcp utility.
