OH NO! This is my problem too - but I work in a lowly government department who won't let me pay consultants! If I asked you really nicely could you give me a hint?

You may be interested in the fix we found for this problem: (Dead simple when you know how) - The Network clkient on this particular box was set to "Force Encryption" - simply uncheck the tick box and you're in.
