Ryan M. Hager writes "The easiest way to explain my question is by briefly describing my situation. I have a database that a majority of my users use the current values (i.e. now.) However, I have a requirement to be able to look at the database at a particular time in the past. I have about 5 related tables to which this applies. I am looking for a resource (a book being the best) that has algorithms like this explained, or information on what types of issue arise so I can design my systems algorithms to handle these cases. Any direction you may have would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan M. Hager" |
