Does SQL Server place locks on Table variables.

Damn, that's a good question!
I don't think so, but I can't find anything that says yes or no.

Why do you ask? Are you running into a locking issue with a table variable??

No. Table variables are not shared resources, and thus there's no reason to synchronize access to them through locking.
