David writes "I have a table with 5 columns........
there is no primary keys...........
I need to know the duplicate records based on all but 1 of the fields.( the last field) for example
column 1 column 2 column 3 column 4 column 5
one two three four five
one two three four eight

so this would be a dupe record............but my main problem is I have to present the info like this

column 1 column 2 column 3 column 4 column 5
one two three four five
one two three four eight

I have to show both records, even the field that does not need to be a dupe..............Please help"

Sounds either like a repost or a "homework" assignment.

Take a look at http://www.sqlteam.com/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=14756
