Mark writes "Without using a table, how can I return n rows of the integers 1 through n?
{more info on why, so skip this if you're bored...} I have a stored procedure which returns customer addresses, and one of the fields it returns is to print n address labels. Because of limitations of my report writer, I need to return n numbered copies of the same customer address. I therefore want to join my address table with this list of integers 1 through n to get me n duplicate records. If you see an easy way to do this instead, please let me know.
And THANKS! The Stump the SQL guru questions are awesome and have helped me incredibly!" |
