Hi all,

I am having a windows application in which i am using Sql Server 2003 as my back-end. I was wondering what should be the best method if i want to run the application from a CD or DVD in a computer where SQL Server is not installed... Can anybody help me with this

You mean standalone application with no network connection what-so-ever and no SQL Server installed locally ?
Maybe you can use this version http://www.microsoft.com/sql/editions/compact/default.mspx

Can the machine you run app on talk to sql server? How do you build connection string in your app? Do you have to install the app or just run from cd?
