Hey guys - I need your help. We are using SQL Server 2000- do you think, we should upgrade to some later release of Microsoft SQL Servier or Migrate to Oracle, IBM or Sybase. I am also wondering, what do you think of Open Source MySQL and PostgreSQL. Have anyone of you using these databases. Thanks guys for your help

You can stick to SQL Server 2000 or upgrade to SQL Server 2005. I have no comments on other databases.

Since this is a Microsoft site, our answers are going to be SQL Server. And we'll always recommend the newest version of the product, since it's bigger, better, faster, ...
