| Well, a SQL statement is not going to fail because of "too many fields"... So there probably is something wrong with your statement. If you want to see everything that gets sent to the server, you can set up a profiler trace (look up "traces, creating" in BOL)---------------Strong SQL Developer wanted in the Boston area.
